Mrs. Appler earned a bachelor of science degree from West Chester University in 1994. She earned a Master of science degree in Audiology at the Pennsylvania State University in 1996. Her residency in Audiology was completed at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center in 1996. She completed her doctoral program at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry School of Audiology. She became board certified in Audiology in 1997.
